We are a small, friendly livery yard situated in the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds offering full and part livery and fantastic riding, with no need to go on the public roads.

Meet our new yard manager, Linzi Atkinson.

Linzi Atkinson Yard Manager

Linzi has worked in the equine industry for over 20 years, starting her career at a local hunt/livery yard whilst studying for her NVQ level 2 in horse care.  She went on to teach in a riding school to gain her first teaching qualification and continued her studies at Bishop Burton College leaving in 2005 with a Degree in equine science and management.

Whilst at the college She gained her BHS Stage 3 riding and care and qualified as a BHS assistant Instructor. After leaving college Linzi worked at a local livery yard and also did some freelance instruction.

In 2006 She joined the team at Ruth Edge international event and dressage yard, where she was yard manager for 4 years.

During her time there she was responsible for the  day to day care of over 20 horses, including all their feeding, veterinary, farrier needs. She has groomed at many high profile events including the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Badminton and Burghley horse trials and various European events across France, Germany and Holland.

In 2010 Linzi started working at Bishop Burton College as a yard assistant then progressing on to become an instructor and then deputy yard manager. Whilst working at the college she gained my BHS Intermediate instructors qualification.

Hacking Tracks

We can offer 5 miles of off-road hacking. The track has plenty of long canter stretches, cross country jumps, and up hill tracks for fitness. 

The full track length is almost 5 miles, however there are shorter routes to explore. Please see our hacking maps below:

Low Hunsley Livery is located in the Yorkshire Wolds, within easy travelling distance of Beverley, Hull & Market Weighton. The livery yard is in the middle of a 350 acre arable farm. We have created field margins to allow our livery to hack safely without the need to go on the roads. We have multiple hacking routes around the farm land with stunning scenery sat within a peaceful location.
